EcoDrive makes mold temperature control extremely energy efficient

At WITTMANN, the term EcoDrive stands for the optimal utilization of energy. This is because EcoDrive adapts the performance of the system precisely to the demand. As a result, the energy consumption of temperature control units in the Tempro plus D series is reduced by half.

The EcoDrive option is available for all Tempro plus D pressure and oil temperature control units from WITTMANN. The energy-saving potential is particularly high if the production cell is set up  frequently and the temperature control unit covers applications with different mold temperatures. 

The Tempro plus D EcoDrive pump performance can be varied  between 1200 and 4000 rpm, and it is well worth making the most of this range.  The energy saving potential is at least 45 percent. In conjunction with the electronic flow control systems Flowcon plus and WFC 120 with parallel distribution, even savings of up to 70 percent are possible. 
Another benefit: the service life  of the pump is significantly extended when not constantly running at full capacity.
