Qualifications

  • Education: High School Diploma
  • Experience: 1-2 years’ experience in similar position desirable
  • Needs to be able to lift 50 lbs varying from 40% - 50% of the work day
  • Ability to maneuver a forklift properly and safely

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Candidate must be able to work effectively on your own and as a team player. Familiar with basic receiving procedures involving proper documentation and processing of all received products.
Ability to plan & organize, maintain records, meet schedules and timelines, safety practices and related software applications. Forklift/Crane operation allowing for the safe placement and removal from stock of all Wittmann related parts and components. 
 

Full Job Description

POSITION PURPOSE

Develop, implement and manage all aspects of the Wittmann Battenfeld Safety Program. This This position will perform manual and clerical warehousing duties as required to receive, store and distribute materials


ESSENTIAL DUTIES

  1. Receive and stock  materials from UPS, air shipments, container shipments, etc. using a forklift/crane as required.    

  2. Issues out material to support any type of production work order (ie., Robots, Downstreams, Adapters, Toolings, Guardings, Materials Handling, Water, Granulators, etc.

  3. Support the Parts department in filling sales orders and presenting them to shipping on a timely basis.

  4. Cycle counting as directed by immediate supervisor.

  5. Help to keep work area clean and organized.

  6. Answer stockroom door to get materials for the various internal departments.

  7. Completing all assigned tasks in an accurate and timely manner.

  8. Maintain a "Customer Friendly" and professional attitude when dealing with customers internal and external.

  9. Participates in year end inventory project.

  10. Must be available, as needed, to work additional hours for stockroom reorganization, or related Stockroom/Warehousing projects.
