Seminar
The first day will cover powering the Robot, use and function of the Safety Package, initial robot referencing, manual movements, guided generation of Programs with the QuickNew feature and fine tuning of the Program with QuickEdit.
The second and third day will cover Text Programming in some detail.
Content
Day 1
QuickNew Program Generation
This portion will allow an operator to generate a new program that will support a pick and place program that has the following combination of capabilities:
1. Handle the part with a maximum of either:
a. 4 vacuums or
b. 4 grippers
2. Utilizing a gripper for a runner with placement either:
a. Before Placement of part or
b. After placement of part
3. Single or multiple part placements with or without pallatization
4. Removal Options include:
a. Early ejection
b. Early ejector retraction
c. Break part from mold at reduced speed
5. Automated safe homing sequence
6. Additional program selection options:
a. Reject Sequence from IMM or specified number of startup rejects
b. Placement at a QC location upon request
c. Sprue-cutting with up to nine cutting positions
d. EcoMode selection
QuickEdit Program Modification
This portion will allow an operator to open, modify and verify an existing QuickEdit program.
Day 2 and 3
Text Programming, including:
- Part manipulation that require the use of more than 4 vacuums or 4 grippers or require the use of a combination of vacuum and grippers.
- Part transfer to the End Of Arm Tooling that involves the use Cores
- Safety Areas
- Defining QuickEditor Parameters
- SmartRemoval
- A Custom Reference Sequence
- Rudimentary Counter manipulation
- Structured programming using Jumps, Subroutines and Calls.
