Episode 24: Smart Recycling
How recycled materials can be used efficiently and safely in automotive parts
The EU’s End-of-Life Vehicles Directive provides binding quotas for the use of recycled plastics in vehicles. For automotive suppliers, inline recycling is no longer optional, but necessary in order to combine quality, sustainability, and cost-effectiveness. In “Wir sind Spritzguss.”, Vladimir Babajlov, responsible for production and mold planning at Brose, together with Alexander Paech, sales manager for automation and auxiliaries at WITTMANN in Nuremberg, report on experiences, new opportunities, and future challenges.
