Episode 19: Working together for the circular economy
Reducing the CO2 footprint – with PCR, efficient machines and enthusiasm
The circular economy requires new ideas – and a multidimensional approach. At K2025, WITTMANN, WILDPLASTIC and other partners are pulling out all the stops to reduce the CO2 footprint in injection molding. The basis for this: an energy-efficient machine with a direct current network, Cellmould lightweight technology and a post-consumer material that has been collected in the environment – in a region where there is still no extensive infrastructure for the reuse of plastics.
In episode 19 of “Wir sind Spritzguss.”, Dieter Gottschalk, Co-Founder of WILDPLASTIC, and Andreas Hollweg, Sales Manager Injection Molding Technology at WITTMANN BATTENFELD Deutschland, discuss about the challenges and opportunities of PCR processing.
Even before the K trade fair, at the opening of WITTMANN's new technical center in Nuremberg on July 3, the two partners will give an outlook on their joint development.
