Automated production at Linear Plastics

Extreme weather conditions recently wreaked havoc with the River Taff in South Wales.

Our good friends at Linear Plastics, near Pontypridd thankfully escaped the brunt of the flooding devastation. Indeed they have been lending their talents and resources to the local recovery effort.

In that context it is a pleasure to note that our manufacturing support for Linear is working well. The newly installed SmartPower injection moulding cells at Linear are performing exactly to schedule. 

We reported on the installation at the end of last year – and here is a short video showing the main features of the two new cells at work - providing automated and energy-efficient injection moulding.

We wish the Pontypridd community and Linear Plastics every success in recovering their local infrastructure and we are proud to continue to supply Linear our very best in automated equipment and services.
